The wine has a clear and shiny golden pale color. On the nose there are subtle notes of iodine, white flowers and white fruit on a base of fresh bread. The taste is characterized by freshness and subtlety. A balance between lively lemon acidity and gourmand pear sweetness.
It goes well with fish, seafood and as an aperitif.
The Gruhier wine estate is located in Chablis, near the Abbaye du Petit Quincy, covering 30 hectares of vines. Specializing in the Chardonnay variety, the estate exploits the unique terroir of Chablis to create exceptional white wines. The vineyards have a semi-continental climate of the region, characterized by severe winters and moderately warm summers. The stony soil, characteristic of Chablis, gives the wines a distinctive minerality and elegance that sets them apart.
